Welcome to the homepage of the Signal Processing and Communications (SigProC) Laboratory. We are part of the Information Engineering Division of Cambridge University Engineering Department.
The Signal Processing and Communications Laboratory is home to 6 Faculty members and some 35 research staff and research students. The Group researches topics in Inference, Information Theory, Imaging, and Signal Analysis. Areas of expertise include high-dimensional statistics, Bayesian computational methodology, sequential Monte Carlo (particle filters), network science, graphical models, message passing algorithms, coding theory, and geometric algebra. The applications are wide-ranging, e.g, Localisation and Tracking, Communications, Data Compression and Storage, Audio and Music Processing, Financial Time Series analysis, Computer Vision, and Computational Biology.
An overview of the laboratory, and a list of current research themes and projects are available. If you are interested in engaging in collaborative research, or joining the group as a student or visitor, you may wish to contact a member of staff whose interests are similar to your own.
